About me
Hi! I’m Olivia—a User Experience Designer based in the DC area with a background in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between UX and I/O to create training experiences that are not only intuitive but also grounded in behavioral science and organizational impact.
With over 5 years of experience supporting Federal clients, I specialize in designing accessible, user-focused learning solutions that drive engagement, retention, and measurable results. At the core of my work is a deep commitment to the end user—understanding their needs, behaviors, and challenges to deliver meaningful, effective learning experiences. I’ve led the end-to-end development of more than 25 SCORM-compliant courses in Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline 360—reaching approximately 100,000 users annually in both English and Spanish.
My work is rooted in accessibility (508 compliance), responsive design, and user research. I apply UX best practices to streamline navigation, boost usability, and address learner pain points—while leveraging I/O principles to align learning strategies with organizational goals and close knowledge gaps through surveys, focus groups, and targeted needs analyses.
I also integrate AI-generated voiceovers to enhance immersion and support diverse learning preferences. Beyond eLearning, I’ve developed competency models, onboarding frameworks, and leadership development tools that support workforce development across public-sector environments.
When I’m not designing or researching, you’ll likely find me exploring the DC area or hanging out with my two dogs, Rufus and Mochi.
